Scottish Premiership Tips & Predictions
The Scottish Premiership is the home of Glasgow Rangers and Celtic, two of the biggest football clubs in the world. It’s also home to lesser-known teams such as Ross County, St Mirren and Kilmarnock.

Scottish Premiership Odds
Scottish Premiership odds are calculated on the probability of something happening.
For example, the odds of Rangers winning Scottish Premiership are much shorter than the odds of Ross County, simply because the probability of Rangers winning the Scottish Premiership is much higher.
If Rangers win the Scottish Premiership after you placed a £10 on them to do so at 5/4, you would win £22.50. But if Ross County win the Scottish Premiership after you placed a £10 bet on them to do so at 750/1, you would win £7,500.
The Scottish Premiership odds for individual games are often short, especially when betting on Celtic or Rangers, so a nice way of increasing the odds is through accumulator betting.
More commonly referred to as an ‘acca’, accumulator betting is when you bet on two or more Scottish Premiership games – betting on five teams is known as a ‘five-fold’ – but combine them into one bet. Learn how Betting.com’s acca bet calculator can help you save time in manual calculations.
Because the odds are multiplied, you’ll win an enhanced amount if all the selections in your acca are correct.

Scottish Premiership 2022/23 Overview
The Scottish Premiership 2022/23 season will be played from Saturday 30th July to Sunday 30th May. There will be a five-week break from November to allow the 2022 World Cup to be played, with Scottish Premiership fixtures resuming on Saturday 17th December.
The Scottish Premiership is made up of 12 teams, with each team playing the other 11 teams three times for a total of 33 games. After 33 games, the league will then split into two sections of six, with each team playing the other five in their respective section once.
Celtic are odds-on favourites to win the Scottish Premiership, having won the title in nine of the last 10 seasons. Rangers, who won the title the season before last, are second favourites and expected to run their Glasgow rivals close.
Aberdeen were the last team other than Rangers or Celtic to win the Scottish title, doing so in 1985 under Sir Alex Ferguson. That explains why Hearts, Hibs and Aberdeen, the third, fourth and fifth favourites, are so far behind in the betting.
