Kwiff Welcome Offer

When we first learned about Kwiff’s £20 Surprise Bet welcome offer, we weren’t sure what to make of it. We know that Kwiff has upped the ante and doubled the value of the Surprise Bet from £10 which was the original welcome offer. But it’s still hard to pass verdict on whether this is a deal that will resonate with new customers. We’ll do our best to explain how this rather fetching deal works just below.

Kwiff Welcome Offer – £20 Surprise Bet – This is how it works

This promotion pretty much takes care of itself because there really isn’t that much asked of you beyond a few simple things. We’ll show you how the welcome offer in three easy steps, and then we’ll see if we can’t ruin the surprise a little bit. Let’s face it, no one really likes a surprise when it comes to sports betting.

  1. Register your account at Kwiff
  2. Place a qualifying bet (mind odds 1/2 – min stake £10)
  3. Get your £20 Surprise Bet

Okay, here’s how Kwiff explains how Surprise Bets work: “A Surprise Bet is a bet that we (Kwiff Sportsbook) make and is generated by our algorithm so it could be on any sport or bet type, and will appear in the ‘Cash Out’ section.” If you’ve been around the sports betting scene for as long as we have, you probably reacted too to the “any sport or bet type.” In theory, this means that your Surprise Bet could actually be placed on an outright market which won’t be settled for months!

There’s also a chance that you could get kwiffed on any bet but you can’t control when it happens. For now we’ll leave what getting kwiffed means to your imagination. Brace yourself for the big reveal if you keep reading.

Now, here’s how we think Surprise Bets as part of the welcome offer, actually work. You’re probably more likely to get a Surprise Bet on a heavy favourite because it’s in Kwiff’s interest that you win this bet and stick around for a while. Further down in this review when we talk about other promotions at Kwiff, we’ll share our thoughts on how Surprise Bets work most likely a little differently than in the welcome offer.

Terms and Conditions for Kwiff Welcome Offer

Welcome offers are always exclusive to new customers only who are at least 18. To qualify for the Surprise Bet, you’ll have to place a real money bet of at least £10 with a minimum original odds of 1/2. Bets that can win each way are excluded and so are bets with supercharged odds, of course, and if you do everything right your £20 Surprise Bet will be placed on your behalf within 48 hours.

For full terms and conditions, please check the promotions page on Kwiff’s website.

Kwiff – Everything You Need to Know

Kwiff is licensed by the UKGC, bringing an extra layer of security for your needs. Their website can be a bit deceiving as there’s also an Isle of Man license mentioned, but for UK customers, it’s the UKGC license that applies

Founded in 2015, Kwiff is a bookmaker that hasn’t been all that popular until now. In recent years, Kwiff has expanded their operations, so they could be in the best possible position to serve their customers all around the world. For UK customers, there’s some really good news: Kwiff is licensed by the UKGC, bringing an extra layer of security for your needs. Their website can be a bit deceiving as there’s also an Isle of Man license mentioned, but for UK customers, it’s the UKGC license that applies.

In this review, we’re going all hands on deck with Kwiff. We’re going to find out everything you need to know, in order to make the best possible decisions for your betting career. Be it the markets available, payment methods, or anything related to this bookmaker, we’re going to tell it to you straight!

How to Register at Kwiff?

Creating new accounts (especially if you’re using mobile devices) can be a bit frustrating sometimes. Kwiff is trying hard to make the registration process as simple as possible, and currently, it’s been getting good feedback from players. There’s nothing too special about the registration process, and if you’ve ever created an account with a bookmaker before, you should be doing just fine with Kwiff as well.

There are really only 4 steps you need to follow, and you’re on your way:

  1. Go to Kwiff’s website
  2. Click “Join”
  3. Fill in the required information
  4. It’s done, shouldn’t take more than a minute!

Once you’ve registered, and maybe already played some, you should know that mandated by the UKGC, Kwiff is also doing KYC checks – especially for new customers that are requesting their first withdrawal. KYC (Know Your Customer) is a process where the players need to confirm their identity and help Kwiff offer even safer games in the future. This is mostly done to ensure player safety, so we recommend you complete this step as quickly as possible. Usually, the KYC process only requires 3 types of documents: Proof of ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.), Proof of Payment and Proof of Address.

Once you’ve completed the KYC, you probably won’t have to do it ever again. Getting all the documents checked and approved shouldn’t take more than 24-72 business hours.

Design & Navigation at Kwiff

There are very few negatives about Kwiff, but if we’re completely honest with you, their site could use some graphic design. Regardless of the site working usually very well, it’s not that pleasing to look at. Graphics and visuals seem a bit outdated, but that’s about all the negatives we can come up with.

From the left of your screen, you’ll find a dropdown menu that has the most important items listed (Sports, Casino, Cash Out, Help). From these categories, you’re able to navigate throughout the site fairly well.

The sportsbook section of the site works pretty well with the simplistic look, as it’s pretty easy to spot different matches and odds when there are not too many other distracting factors in the way.

You have all the sports and the leagues in the top navigation bar, and you can of course use the quick selection to get certain categories to pop up as well (In-Play, matches starting in 24 hours, different competitions, etc.).

Kwiff Available Sports, Odds & Markets

At the time of writing this review, there are over a thousand different odds and markets to choose from – that’s quite a lot if you ask us. European football is of course well represented, but you’re by no means limited to that. Look out for bigger sporting events & competitions, as those types of events are usually increasing the odds selection noticeably.

For UK customers, the most popular sports offered are:

  • Football
  • Horse Racing
  • Darts
  • Rugby
  • Boxing
  • MMA
  • Cricket

There might be something lacking in terms of more exotic sports, but if you’re just a regular Joe, there’s more than enough odds for you to choose from.

Decimal odds are the default odds for Kwiff, but you can change these through your account settings. If you don’t want to do that, you’re always welcome to use our (completely free) odds calculator.

Most of the time Kwiff isn’t the place that offers the highest odds, but it’s a viable option to go to if you’re limited on other bookmakers at the moment.

Kwiff In-Play Betting

In-Play betting view for Kwiff is extremely good looking. It’s clean, intuitive and easy to use. There are not that many distractions going on, so the margin for error lessens radically. Usually there are a lot of football matches to bet on (no matter what the time is), but expect to find a lot of tennis, horse racing and rugby as well.

Kwiff Mobile App

There’s a standalone mobile app for Kwiff that can be downloaded to both Android & iOS. Please note that the Android version is only available through Kwiff ’s own website, but the iOS version is available on Apple’s App Store.

Downloading the apps isn’t necessary, since the site works well just with the browser as well. Kwiff ’s site is fairly responsive, and you shouldn’t face too many problems when playing with browsers such as Chrome or Safari. Make sure you always have all the latest updates for each browser, to ensure the best possible compatibility.

Payment Methods and Limits Available at Kwiff

Unfortunately at the moment, UK customers are only able to use debit cards to deposit and it’s not likely going to change to safeguard players from racking up gambling debts on credit cards. For now, the only payment methods available are Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal.

For deposits, they are of course instant and immediately transferred to your Kwiff account, but withdrawals may take up to 3 to 5 business days. Please note that if your account is not verified (you haven’t completed the KYC process), this might take a bit longer the first time. After successfully sending all required documents, your card withdrawals will be fairly quick.

One good thing to know about Kwiff’s deposit methods is the fact that you can deposit as little as £5 if needed. Usually, the minimum amount is set somewhere between £15 – £20, but hey, sometimes you want to place a bet lower than that!

Kwiff Customer Support

There’s plenty of resources if you need to contact Kwiff customer support. The most commonly used is of course the email: [email protected] After testing it a few times, the responses seem to be super quick. At one time it took less than 15 minutes to answer! If you need immediate help, we recommend the live-chat option for you. If you click “Help” from the left, you’ll find all the information you’re going to need. Kwiff’s customer support is available 24/7, 365 days a year.

Reading through Kwiff’s FAQ section is not very helpful. It mainly answers questions about getting kwiffed, how that might feel, and when it could happen. There’s no information about payment methods on the site. We had to contact customer support to verify that PayPal is now an available payment method. There’s lots of room for improvement in the FAQ department.

Kwiff Responsible Gaming

Gambling related problems is a real threat, and all the bookmakers know about it as well. For years many of the operators thought that it’s good for business, but quite sadly it’s not, it’s the exact opposite. Getting rid of gambling problems is good for the whole industry, and helps it get rid of the stigma that revolves around it.

Kwiff is a responsible bookmaker, offering a lot of tools for its players to use if they ever feel that they’re not the one controlling their own gambling. Players can:

  • Set loss limits
  • Set win limits
  • Browse their gambling history
  • Take a time-out
  • Close their account permanently

On top of all these self-help tools, Kwiff also provides a lot of information on how you can reach 3rd party organisations and get help, or help someone that you know suffers from excessive gambling.

Kwiff Summary

Despite not being maybe the best-looking operator out there, Kwiff is a reliable bookmaker.

Here at Betting.com, we’re brutally honest with you, and we always want to bring you the most authentic reviews we possibly can. That being said, we cannot be overly happy about how Kwiff is operating collectively. There’s some good to this operator as well, but by no means it’s not the best bookmaker out there.

Despite not being maybe the best-looking operator out there, Kwiff is definitely a reliable bookmaker. It’s just the basic functionalities and the visuals that we need to take into consideration when thinking about whether we should open an account with them or not.

If you decide to register at Kwiff, there’s nothing wrong with it. It serves its purpose, but for intermediate and advanced players, it might not meet the requirements that so often are needed.

24/7 customer support and a vast selection of betting markets make up for the things that Kwiff doesn’t bring to the table, so in a sense, it’s well balanced.

Kwiff Special Offers and Bonuses

Kwiff’s selection of bonuses doesn’t stop when you’ve used your welcome offer. There’s quite a lot of different things going on, and most of these are promotions with a short lifecycle. This is extremely good news for all the punters out there, not just for the new customers looking to register their account on Kwiff. Most of the promotions do not require a Kwiff bonus code but always check the campaigns separately, before joining/claiming.

Kwiff Loyalty Club

Being loyal usually pays off – this is no different. Kwiff has its loyalty club where you can earn free bets and cash. You do need to opt-in to that, so make sure you won’t forget! The amounts & prizes are usually changing, but at the moment there are for example tasks that pay out £5-£10 in cash if you qualify.

Example: Bet at least £50 before Friday, 23:59 and receive £5 cash on Saturday. Quick and easy!

Other Promotions at Kwiff

Besides cash prizes and free bets, there’s also a selection of bonuses & promotions designed around different sports. At the time of writing this, there’s for example a supercharged special campaign going on with Darts, and a “First Past the Post” -campaign within Horse Racing.

Always make sure you check the current live promotions before making deposits – you never know what you might find!

Kwiff Deposit Bonus

Kwiff doesn’t offer any deposit bonuses per se at the time of writing this review. Instead, their promotions revolve around placing different types of bets on different days and sports. Still, if you agree to letting Kwiff send you promotional emails, who knows what could show up in your inbox. Maybe a kwiffed bet.

If you have your heart set on deposit bonuses, we suggest that you go through our full list of deposit bonuses.

Combining My Kwiff Deposit Bonus with Other Offers – Is It Possible?

No. Kwiff, just like any other bookmaker, will do their best to prevent players from abusing bonuses. If players were allowed to combine bonuses it would probably open Pandora’s Box and the bookie would end up giving away free money to all their players. This is why each and every promotion has its own set of rules. Make sure you do more than just glance over these. We can’t stress how important it is to make sure you understand the terms and conditions before you consent to partake.

Is It Hard To Claim Kwiff Bonuses?

Of course not. The welcome bonus is super easy to claim: The journey can be distilled down to: Register, Deposit, Bet, and Get. And as long as you don’t break any rules of any promotion you’ll find that it’s as easy as Sunday morning. On top of that, Kwiff has steered clear of implementing promo codes to opt in to their promotions and offers. That makes life even easier. Easier than… Monday morning?
