English League One Tips & Predictions
With not every game being subjected to relentless TV coverage, the latest form of English League 1 teams can be hard to keep on top of.
So while you can never be sure of the outcome of a game – English League 1 betting wouldn’t be the same if you could – give your bets the best possible chance of success by reading our English League 1 tips and predictions, which are published on betting.com every single day.
English League 1 odds are calculated on the probability of something happening.
For example, the odds of Ipswich Town winning the English League 1 are much shorter than the odds of Morecambe. That’s because the probability of Ipswich Town doing so is much higher.
If Ipswich won the English League 1 after you placed a £10 bet on them to do so at 5/1, you would win £50. But if Morecambe won the English League 1 after you placed a £10 bet on them to do so at 100/1, you would win £1000.
English League 1 odds for individual games can often be short, especially if you’re backing one of the stronger teams to win, so a clever way of increasing the odds is through accumulator betting.
More commonly referred to as an ‘acca’, accumulator betting is when you bet on two or more English League 1 games – five games is called ‘a five-fold’ – but combine them into one bet. You can use our free acca bet calculator to save time in your manual calculations.
Because the odds are multiplied, you’ll win an enhanced amount if all the selections in your acca are correct.

The English League 1 2022/23 season will be played from Saturday 30th July to Sunday 28th May 2023, with a five-week break taking place in November and December to allow the 2022 World Cup to be played.
As usual, the league will be made up of 24 teams, with each team playing the other 23 teams at home and away for a grand total of 46 games.
The top two teams will be promoted to the English Championship, with the four teams who finish between third and sixth entering the play-offs. The bottom four clubs will be relegated to the English League 2.
