Germany, England, Belgium, France, Spain and Portugal are the teams deemed most likely by the bookies to make the Round of 16. The same nations, ahead of Italy and the Netherlands, make up the favourites to progress from the Round of 16 into the quarter-finals. Albania have the highest odds on making the knockout stages, which, given that they have been drawn in a group against Spain, Italy and Croatia, is hardly surprising. The Czech Republic will be touch and go, with bet365 offering the same odds as them qualifying as not qualifying, both 5/6, at the time of writing. Scotland are rated as having a relalistic chance of progress.
