Chelsea have sacked their manager Graham Potter after their home defeat to Aston Villa left them in 11th place in the table.
Former Brighton boss Potter had been in charge less than seven months after taking over from Thomas Tuchel in September after the current Bayern Munich manager was sacked. Bruno Saltor will take charge of the team on an interim basis as the club search for a new permanent manager.
Chelsea face an uphill fight to qualify for Europe through league position this season and have a tough task in their Champions League quarter final where they are up against Real Madrid.
There have now been 13 managerial departures in the Premier League this season. Nottingham Forest and West Ham are the only clubs currently in the bottom nine of the league not to have made a change.
