Leicester City have signed England internationals Connor Coady and Harry Winks as they look to bounce straight back from relegation to the Championship. 30-year-old Coady joins from Midlands rivals Wolves, after a season on loan at Everton, while Winks, 27, moves from Tottenham after a spell on loan at Sampdoria.
Central defender Coady and midfielder Winks are new City boss Enzo Maresca’s first signings since taking over in June. They both arrive for undisclosed fees; however, the cost is estimated to be around £8.5m and £10m for Winks, and will sign three-year deals.
After being relegated from the Premier League on the final day of last season, the Foxes will start their Championship campaign on August 6 when they host last season’s playoff finalists Coventry City.
Leicester last week sold England midfielder James Maddison to Tottenham for £40m. Maddison has signed a five-year contract with the North London club.
