Last 16 throws up interesting ties
The draw has set up a number of interesting ties, including 14-time champions Real Madrid against RB Leipzig, Inter Milan against Atletico Madrid, and Bayern Munich against Lazio.
Copenhagen, the Danish champions who finished above Manchester United in their group, will make their first appearance in the knockout stage since 2011. The first legs are scheduled for 13-14 or 20-21 February, with the return legs on 5-6 or 12-13 March.
Both Manchester City and Arsenal, as seeded teams, will have the advantage of playing the second leg at home. City, with a perfect record in Group G, will look to continue their impressive run in the last 16, having progressed from this stage in the past six seasons. Arsenal, topping Group B, will aim to make their mark in a competition they have never won.
The final is set to take place at Wembley on 1 June.

Betting Implications
With all due respect, the draw has been kind to Manchester City who have had their position as favourites strengthened despite having had, by their standards, an indifferent period. At the time of writing, bet365 have City as favourites, priced at 15/8 ahead of Bayern Munich, 4/1, Real Madrid, 11/2 and Arsenal, 6/1.
Bettors need to look at the form of the teams in the last 16, look at the draw and work out what effect that will have on things when making their picks.
