Boost for Irish National as BoyleSports deal is extended

The partnership brings about a notable development for the Irish Grand National, as it will now boast a substantial prize fund of €500,000, making it the most lucrative event on the Irish National Hunt calendar for the year 2024.

BoyleSports CEO, Vlad Kaltenieks, expressed enthusiasm about continuing the sponsorship, emphasising the thrilling and dramatic history of the Irish Grand National. He highlighted the unwavering commitment to supporting Irish racing, a sentiment shared with their partners at Horse Racing Ireland Racecourses. Additionally, BoyleSports will extend its sponsorship to Leopardstown, becoming the official betting partner for the nine races of the Summer Series scheduled between May and August.

In addition to the Irish Grand National, BoyleSports will sponsor other HRI events, including the Grade 3 Joe Mac Novice Hurdle at Tipperary Racecourse on Super Sunday, and the Grade 2 Webster Cup Chase at Navan Racecourse. The bookmaker is also a principal partner for the Fairyhouse Easter Festival, with plans to sponsor two additional races over the Easter weekend.

Paul Dermody, CEO of Horse Racing Ireland Racecourses, acknowledged BoyleSports as a valued sponsor since 2014 and saw the extension of the partnership to other HRI Racecourses as a strong endorsement of the relationship between the brand and the racecourses. Dermody expressed optimism about the collaboration, stating that partnering with Irish racing continues to bring significant commercial opportunities and value to brands. He looks forward to supporting BoyleSports in the activation of this extended agreement.
