Thomas Müller has enjoyed team and individual success with club and country.
Debuting for the Bayern first team in 2008, Müller has become a household name, adapting his position and role to numerous different managers and enjoying a late-career renaissance over the last few seasons.
An incredibly intelligent and hard-working player, Müller’s engine has often been identified as his most important attribute, but he really does a bit of everything.

- Müller has made 641 appearances for Bayern Munich, and his 140 in European competition is the most in club history.
- Only Sepp Maier has more Bayern appearances than Müller.
- Müller has won the Bundesliga 11 times (a record for any player) and has lifted the Champions League on two occasions (2012-13 and 2019-20).
- Of those 11 titles, Bayern are on a run of 10 in a row, which is the joint-record for a player by Müller and Manuel Neuer.
- A tally of 302 Bundesliga wins for Bayern is the most by any player for one club.
- Müller has made 12 appearances in the German Supercup, more than anyone else in Bayern history, and only one player has scored more goals in the German Supercup.
- Only six players (Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Robert Lewandowski, Karim Benzema, Raul, Ruud van Nistelrooy) have scored more Champions League goals than Müller’s tally of 53 in 138 matches.
- Müller is eighth on the list of Champions League appearances ahead of Sergio Ramos, Toni Kroos and long-time teammate Neuer.

- Müller has 118 caps for Germany since debuting in 2010.
- Only four players have more appearances for Die Mannschaft.
- Müller has 44 goals at international level, which places seventh all-time among Germans, just ahead of Uwe Seeler and Michael Ballack.
- Including a prolific World Cup campaign, 2014 was Müller’s highest-scoring year for Germany, scoring 10 times in 15 caps.
- Müller did not register a cap in 2019 or 2020, but has returned to the fray with 18 caps and six goals since the start of 2021.
- Müller scored his first goal for Germany in the group stage of the 2010 World Cup against Australia.
- Müller scored nine times in UEFA qualification for Euro 2016, which was the second-most of any player behind Robert Lewandowski.

- Müller won the 2014 World Cup, and scored the opener in the 7-1 drubbing of Brazil in the semi-final.

- Only seven players have scored more World Cup goals than Müller.
- All 10 of his goals were scored across the 2010 and 2014 tournaments, with Müller winning the Golden Boot in 2010 and the Silver Boot four years later.
- He was named Best Young Player in 2010, as well as earning a spot in the All-Star Team.
- Müller was again in the All-Star Team in Brazil in 2014, which was accompanied by the Silver Ball.
- Müller’s first five goals at international level were scored at the 2010 World Cup.
- Müller is one of only four Germans to place in the top four in World Cup Golden Ball voting after Oliver Kahn, Harald Schumacher and Lothar Matthäus.
- Miroslav Klose is the only other Germany international to have two top three finishes in the World Cup goalscoring charts.
