Tip: Milan to win, Harry Kane to score: 8/1 Betfred

AC Milan host Tottenham Hotspur for the first leg of their last-16 tie. Milan returned to winning ways with a narrow victory over Torino on Friday. Previously Milan had been on a seven-game run without a win. Spurs need to bounce back after being hammered 4-1 by Leicester City at the weekend.

Milan’s first-choice goalkeeper Mike Maignan has not played since September due to a calf injury, and while he could return for the second leg, he has been ruled out of Tuesday’s contest, Ciprian Tatarusanu will continue in his absence. Both Ismael Bennacer and Fikayo Tomori could recover in time to feature after injuries. Zlatan Ibrahimovic returned to the Milan bench on Friday – the first time since May 2022 – but after a long time on the sidelines he is unlikely to play any part.

Tottenham are also without their first-choice goalkeeper. Hugo Lloris is ruled out with a knee injury, and Fraser Forster will deputise. Cristian Romero is available again after missing the Leicester match through suspension.

Rodrigo Bentancur is out for the season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury sustained on Saturday.  Yves Bissouma is also injured and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg suspended so Spurs may rely on Pape Matar Sarr and Oliver Skipp in midfield.

Tip: Dortmund to win, Kai Havertz to score, both teams to score: 12/1 Betfred

Borussia Dortmund have been in great form since the World Cup break and will provide a stern test for Chelsea. English midfielder Jude Bellingham has been in great form, as speculation over his future continues.

Graham Potter’s side have stuttered of late and sit in ninth place in the table. Potter has been backed in the transfer market in the January window, and while his new recruits have undoubted quality, they are yet to gel.
