Notable transfers

Ajax definitely had a lot of work to do, but they somewhat filled the holes in their team by acquiring Steven Berghuis from Feyenoord. Mohamed Daramy arrived from Danish Superligaen champion FC Copenhagen for just under 10 million, which is a bargain price for such a quality youngster.

As for the winter transfer window, Ajax had to sign 35-year-old Przemyslaw Tyton as a third option in goal, mainly because Onana is in the worst form of his career. Ajax

An incredible 28 wins came alongside just two losses and four draws, while the 102 goals scored and 23 conceded was a supreme showing. PSV Eindhoven

Despite the fact they finished 16 points short of Ajax at the top of the league last season, the 2020/21 campaign was an exceptionally impressive one for PSV. Indeed, their performance would have likely had them at the top or far closer to the number one spot in most other leagues.
