What you´ll find in this TonyBet Review

I put TonyBet through their paces with a comprehensive test drive, using both the desktop and the app.

To begin with, I checked the welcome bonus, terms and conditions. Then I completed the registration and verification process.

I checked out a number of different sports before looking into specific bets.

I put a few bets on to see if it was a smooth process and then looked at the customer service section, the terms and conditions and at the information and support on safer gambling. These are the topics covered in my findings:

1. Licenses

2. Range of available sports

3. Odds’ value

4. Betting options & features

5. Bonus and offers analysis

6. Overall user experience

7. How easy is to open a new account

8. Things you need to know about their deposit methods

9. How withdrawing works

10. What do you do if you run into issues

Sports you can bet on at TonyBet

TonyBet offer in excess of 20 different sports markets. While other sportsbooks offer more sports, TonyBet’s depth is what sets it apart from its rivals. Football has thousands of markets, horse racing and greyhound racing both have their own section on the site. While most bookies look to cover UK and Irish horse and dog racing, TonyBet take a more global approach with races from around the world. However, this means that some of the smaller horse racing and greyhound racing meetings in Britain and Ireland are not covered. The depth of markets is also evident in other areas such as tennis and NBA basketball.

Sports Betting Markets at TonyBet: solid range of sports to bet on and impressive depth in popular sports
TonyBet have a reasonably broad sportsbook, which offers depth across a number of sports and leagues. Football, horse racing, greyhounds, tennis and major US sports are covered really well. Football, for example, has great depth, with bets available for some of the more obscure leagues around the world, as well as popular markets such as the Premier League. They offer a large range of markets from the result of games to player props (number of passes made, cards, goals, assists). This level of depth is also offered in the NBA, while horse racing and greyhound racing each have their own sections. Some slightly more niche sports, including squash and waterpolo are available to punters along with esports and specials markets for TV and politics.
Chris Sampson:
A solid sportsbook which offers a range of markets, and has great depth on the more popular sports, with football and the NBA being strengths. I would like to see horse racing and greyhound racing focus a little more on the UK and Ireland.

TonyBet Odds Offers

TonyBet’s sportsbook consistently offer fair and competitive odds.

I looked at three football matches, from the Premier League and the Championship in England, and from the Champions League. Their payout margins averaged at 94.7%. For the same matches BoyleSports averaged 92.2% and Betfred averaged 93.8%.

For Rugby Union I looked at the three fixtures in France’s Top 14.. TonyBet’s payout margin was 91.8% compared to BoyleSports (89.6%) and Betfred (89.6%).

For horse racing I took the 17:05 at Southwell and, in an eleven horse race, TonyBet had a payout margin of 80.3%. For the same race BoyleSports offered 76.5% and Betfred were 80%.

Overall this shows that TonyBet generally have very good odds and are also fair.

Odds can be viewed as fractional, decimal or American.

Competitive odds at TonyBet
Chris Sampson:
TonyBet’s odds for football, rugby union and horse racing compared well to other leading bookmakers. They generally give good value across the range of sports

TonyBet Betting Options and Features

TonyBet offer a good range of markets, options and features to enhance your betting experience. Ante-Post betting, Accumulators, Multiples, Each-Way bets, Outright winner bets Match Betting and In-Play betting are all available.

Cash out

TonyBet have a cash out feature which allows you to lock in a profit or loss before waiting for the event to finish. As always check terms and conditions.

Variety of Markets

As well as traditional markets TonyBet offer a wide range of options. Individual player props are becoming very popular, and these are available in a range of sports. In football, for some individual players, there are a number of special markets set up for number of shots, fouls or cards. This is also available in basketball. In less popular events there are fewer of these options.

Bet Builder

TonyBet have a bet builder for football and they offer ready made combos for football and other sports on offer.

In-play Betting

The bookmaker offers a number of in-play betting options, which allows you to monitor the action and place your wagers accordingly in a number of sports. TonyBet provide punters with detailed up-to-the-minute coverage of these events, usually accompanied by a graphic.

Football in-play markets are the most popular, and TonyBet covers all of the popular leagues in Europe and beyond along with more obscure competitions.

In-play markets on more niche sports or lower tiers of sport, may lack the depth and variety of more popular events.

Live Streaming

TonyBet have live streaming for horse racing and greyhound racing.

Multiples

TonyBet offers a range of accumulators and multiples., including suggested combos in a number of sports.

Esports and Specials

TonyBet cover esports  really well, providing good range and depth. They also have markets for specials on TV and Politics.

Good range of bets and features at TonyBet
Chris Sampson:
TonyBet have a good amount of markets and depth. A variety of bets are available, both pre-match and in-play. The bet builder is available for some football matches, such as the Premier League, while in football and other popular sports there are ready made combos to select. The in-play section is very strong. Punters are provided with stats, graphics and minute by minute coverage of events. There is limited live streaming available, mainly involving horse racing and greyhounds and an expansion of this would improve the in-play section. I would also like to see the bet builder feature, which is currently available for Premier League football, expanded to other leagues and sports.

Generous welcome bonus from TonyBet, but no other promos of note
Chris Sampson:
TonyBet have a generous welcome offer, which along with their competitive odds ensures that new customers certainly get value for money. Remember, however, that wagering requirements apply. However, an area where the operator falls behind its competitors is the lack of promotions on the sportsbook. Areas of their sports betting section have been developed over recent years and more promotions would be another step forward. In the past, percentage cash back on losses have been offered, along with enhanced prices on certain events. Hopefully TonyBet will reintroduce some of these promos.

TonyBet User Experience

Firstly, I looked at how to register an account, along with the welcome bonus, terms and conditions, before moving on to the registration and verification process. Next up I looked into a number of the sports on offer before investigating  specific bets, focussing on football, rugby union and horse racing.

I placed a couple of wagers to check everything ran smoothly and then looked at the customer service section, the terms and conditions and at the information and support on safer gambling. I undertook this research using both the desktop version of the website and the app.

The TonyBet desktop website has a modern, simplistic design and, once you get used to it, is easy to navigate.

Extensive help section, 24/7 live chat and good customer service at TonyBet
Chris Sampson:
TonyBet´s help section is useful and is fully stocked with a range of FAQ, with links to information on many different areas and topics. There are a number of contact methods available and all provide fast responses. The live chat generally gives a quick response. Emails usually get a prompt response.

Responsible Gambling

TonyBet take responsible gambling seriously. There are clear links to the responsible gambling section on the website and app. Firstly the bookie sets out it’s policies and principles regarding responsible gambling, urging punters to play responsibly. They list a number of outside agencies where players who feel that they have a problem with their gambling habits can seek help.

They clearly state their policy on underage gambling, making it clear that TonyBet’s services are for people aged 18 and over. There is also a section on parental controls, suggesting some good quality apps.

They provide the option to limit deposits, losses and spending, provide access to customer history on the site and give the option to self-exclude or take a time-out.

There are guidelines for staying in control, along with a questionnaire on problem gambling.

The link to the responsible gambling section can be found at the bottom of each page on the TonyBet site.

TonyBet promotes responsible gambling
Chris Sampson:
TonyBet has a great attitude towards responsible gambling. The links are fairly easy to find at the bottom of the web page. They provide a number of tools to help those with a problem, in addition to links for external support. In addition TonyBet are very clear on their policies for protecting minors and for ensuring that their rules are clearly set out and adhered to.

Awards and Recognitions

TonyBet have not won any awards for their sportsbook to date, however, if they do, this section will be updated.

Chris Sampson: TonyBet are developing as an online bookmaker. They have a great welcome offer and offer very competitive odds. While there are sportsbooks out there who cover a greater range of sports, TonyBet have depth to match most of the leading bookies, especially in more popular sports. Their in-play betting options and presentation is top quality.

While their odds and range of markets and betting options cannot be questioned, TonyBet fall behind their competitors in terms of features and promotions. They have live streaming for horse and greyhound racing. I would like to see this expanded as I feel it would improve the service as a whole and compliment their great in-play betting offering really well. I would like to see more promotions for existing customers offered. TonyBet have, in the past, offered cash back on sports betting when you wager a certain amount and have had specials on certain events. Incentives such as these on a regular basis would improve things.

Overall TonyBet is an online bookmaker worth visiting and bettors looking for a great welcome offer, depth and competitive odds will not be disappointed. I would recommend TonyBet to experienced and novice punters alike.
