Fulham have been one of the stories of the Premier League season, maintaining a pace which could have them qualifying for the Europa League.
Chelsea have been in the headlines, too, albeit for less positive reasons amid another managerial change and some very disappointing results.
The Blues are 10 points off fourth ahead of their clash with Fulham at Craven Cottage this week. Graham Potter is without several key players for this match, but it is approaching must-win territory for Chelsea if they are to put up a fight for a top-four berth.
Total Goals: Over 2.5
Chelsea’s misfiring attack has meant they have not gone over 2.5 goals in any of their last five Premier League matches.
Fulham, however, are masters of the over, seeing three or more goals in 15 of their 17 league fixtures to date.
While Chelsea are lacking a cutting edge in the final third, Fulham are a good opponent for the Blues to rediscover some attacking form.
Fulham have the worst expected goal tally allowed in the Premier League, while Chelsea’s defence conceded four to a second-string Manchester City at the weekend.
Both Teams To Score: Yes
Both teams to score has landed in 13 of Fulham’s 18 Premier League matches this season.
At home, both teams have scored in seven of nine. Chelsea have seen BTTS hit in under half of their matches, but this should be an open match with Fulham willing to commit players forward.
Given the trends for Fulham at Craven Cottage, there is value backing BTTS even at 7/10.
