NFL star players visited The Big Boys O-Line Draft Academy.

Many NFL star players have visited the state-of-the-art NFL Draft offensive-line academy, also known as “The Big Boys Club.”

Established in 2021 by Duke Manyweather,  a renowned offensive line trainer, and Geoff Schwartz, an American football guard, The Big Boys Club is a comprehensive program that ensures that linemen realize their maximum potential in a bid to be drafted as high as possible. With well-known NFL players like Rashawan Slater, Creed Humphrey, and Penei Sewell inaugurating the first class of The Big Boys Club, many are wondering who the latest additions to the Big Boys Club are, ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft, scheduled for April 27 – April 29, 2023.

Which Offensive Linemen Are Part of the Third Installment of the Big Boys Club?

As we gear up to watch the 2023 NFL Draft, it is worth noting the names of the offensive linemen who are testing their skills and reflexes within the Big Boys Club. They include:

  • Olu Oluwatimi, Michigan Wolverine’s center draft.
  • Steve Avila, the offensive guard draft at TCU horned dogs.
  • Nick Salvideri, Old Dominion Monarch’s draft offensive guard.
  • Jaelyn Duncan, Offensive tackle draft at Maryland Terrapins.
  • Peter Skoronski, offensive tackle draft at Northwestern Wildcats.

In an exclusive interview with Fox Sports, Manyweather provided insights into the strengths of the linemen in the program. While Skoronski earned the best tackle score of this year’s draft class, a Combine score of 89 charted using the Next Gen Stats, Manyweather shared that all linemen exhibited tremendous potential and even better player history.

For instance, Olu Oluwatimi has won the Outland trophy, an award given to the best defensive or offensive linemen, and the Rimington trophy, awarded to the best center in the country. Avila has played exceptionally well in the left guard position with TCU, earning him a First-Team All-Big 12 and a second-team All America honors. Duncan and Salvideri are other exceptional NFL offensive linemen who joined the Big Boys Club and have shown high-quality skills and work ethic. It is worth noting that this class has an exclusive pass to work with Manyweather and the fraternity for as long as they need.

What Happens After the Big Boys Club?

Once the prospects know their fate at the end of the 2023 NFL Draft, the tentpole OL Masterminds Summit will occur in July. Here, offensive linemen from different eras share experiences, techniques, and opinions while encouraging and motivating each other. These NFL players also converse with physical therapists, mental experts, and various media personalities. The three-day event is where the most unappreciated NFL players get support and share opinions and experiences from on the field.
