It’s just days away from Super Bowl LVII, and teams are getting ready. This game has featured numerous headlines, and here are the injury reports that are released. Always keep in mind, things are subject to change leading up to the event.
Philadelphia Eagles Injury Report
The first real practice of the week took place on Wednesday. Just like the first injury report for the team, the second isn’t as promising as the first report. WR Britain Covey is one of the newest additions to the report with a hamstring injury.
At this time, it remains uncertain whether the injury sustained by the primary punt returner is severe enough to prevent him from participating in the Big Game. No one outside the team’s staff knows the severity of the injury. If things get worse, Greg Ward may be elevated from the practice squad.
Avonte Maddox, Lane Johnson, and Cam Jurgens are on track to play in the Super Bowl; however, the team is taking necessary measures leading up to Sunday. Here is the breakdown of the injury report.

Kansas City Chiefs Injury Report
On the other end, QB Patrick Mahomes has admitted that he isn’t 100 percent as he suffered a high ankle sprain, and the injury has been consistent from the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the divisional round.
The head coach, Andy Reid, and the rest of the team are expressing positivity regarding the injury status update of starting receiver and punt returner, Kadarius Toney. Toney has progressed from being limited in his participation to being fully cleared to play, which is in line with the expectations for his availability.
Just a few days ago, the Chiefs activated RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire from the injury reverse list to place WR Mecole Hardman on the list. The consensus is that he will not be involved in the Super Bowl.
The starting cornerback, L’Jarius Sneed, has unexpectedly been listed on the injury report with a knee problem. The only defensive player on the Chiefs’ injury report, Willie Gay Jr., participated in full practice, which is a positive sign for the defense as they look to contain the catalyst of the offense which is QB Jalen Hurts. Here is the list of the full injury report.
