Secret has been on a remarkable journey during 2020 and since May the team has won 8 tournaments in a row - all finals have been conquered through dominant 3-0 victories nonetheless. The dominance of Secret the past 5 months are unmatched by any team in the history of Dota 2. Led by the legendary captain Puppey, Secret has seemingly assembled the perfect monster. Each and every player is regarded as a true genius in their respective position. Nisha, the youngster of the team has grown into his shoes as one of the most explosive mid players ever. Zai, the professor that gives his team a chance to win from any position, while being able to adapt to any kind of game imaginable. Yapzor, the magician who fits between Puppey and Zai like a burger between the buns. Last, but not least Matumbaman, who rounded out the lineup at the end of last year and who has since shown himself to be the perfect mix to the formula for world domination.
Those might be big words to describe the Secret of 2020, but they are more than worthy of them. As a matter of fact you have to go back three months in time to find a loss for the team. Since then they are 39-3 for maps played, with 18 straight wins. So, it is no wonder the team is a massive favourite to win ESL One Germany and as such, this series against Liquid. While the straight moneylines pushes the odds down immensely, we are eyeing the -1.5 handicap market, as Secret has a tendency to leave nothing to chance and simply more often than not crush their opponent. It seems an immovable object needs to appear if Secret are to be challenged. Could Liquid get the job done? Doubtful.
