Trainers give their best Cheltenham bets

Several trainers attended yesterday’s press conference at Cheltenham. Nick Luck interviewed the trainers and asked them all for their best hope of a Cheltenham winner.

Ben Pauling was first. He said High Bridge has a live chance of a place. Additionally, Alex Ferguson keeps the ride.

Nicky Henderson. Pleased with Brain Power’s gallop at Kempton on Saturday. Also, Charli Parcs is fine after his Kempton fall. He had schooled that morning. He goes for the Triumph. Furthermore, Domperignon Du Lys is well weighted and rated 133 in the Fred Winter.

Charlie Longsdon. Our Kaempfer will probably go for the RSA rather than the Ultima.

Alan King. Uxizandre did his second piece of work that morning and will go for the Ryanair because there’s no point in taking on Douvan in the Champion Chase.

Tom George. Singlefarmpayment is entered in two handicaps and is well rated on 142.

Neil Mulholland. Very happy with The Druids Nephew’s weight (10st 10lb) in the Ultima and will run in that before the Grand National.
