First of all, apologies to all for the appalling run of form!! Hopefully the tip today can put that bad run behind us and get us back onto the winning road. The tip for today runs in the 2.40 at Newton Abbot and is called Knockgraffon.
It is taking a drop in class having run in the Imperial Cup at Sandown last time out. If we take that race out of the equation it has the clearly best form on offer here. The jockey takes a handy 5lb off and this could make all the difference. It’s main competitor is probably going to be Richard Johnson aboard Que Sera.
In conclusion the selection appears to handle most conditions. My only slight concern is that the normal jockey (Harry Skelton) is not on board. But, as stated previously the able deputy Bridget Andrews takes 5lb off. As a result I am confident that will be enough to see the horse have a clear round and scoot home.
Others to keep an eye on in the market will be Beau Phil and Muffins for Tea but I am extremely confident that Knockgraffon can finally put our bad run behind us and we can look forward to collecting some winnings!!
