Tip of the Day. Football 5th March

The tip for tomorrow takes us up to Scotland.  I believe that Dundee will be too strong for a Rangers team that will be without the fire power of their top goal scorer Martyn Waghorn.  Dundee rested numerous players in midweek in preparation for this tie and had a creditable 0-0 draw against Celtic at Parkhead.

Therefore players will be coming into this lunchtime kick off fully refreshed and prepared to see their team into the semi final.  Rangers have struggled the 2 times times they have met superior league opposition this year having been beaten by St Johnstone 2-0 and needing a replay to see of struggling Kilmarnock in the last round.  I think that the general 7/2 about Dundee is way too large and can see Kane Hemmings notching to continue his rich vein of form.

That would be my main bet of the weekend but I also think the bookmakers have got it wrong in two other Scottish FA Cup QF games.

Dundee UTD beat Ross County 3- 0 two weekends ago away from home and despite going down 1-0 to Aberdeen in midweek are in a good run of form which belittles their league position.  I can see them winning again up in the Highlands.  They can be backed at 12/5 and I think they could make it a Tayside double away from home.  Possibly Billy Mckay to notch the first goal.

Finally Inverness CT can overturn a wretched Hibernian team who have lost their last three games in the league and appear to have an eye on their upcoming Scottish League cup final.  ICT are sitting comfortably in the upper half of the SPFL and I can see them overturning their opponents and continuing their unbeaten run against them which currently stretches to nine matches.  They are available around the 5/2 mark and I can see a very profitable treble with three away wins.

Therefore the treble tip can be returned around 59/1 so wager carefully!!!

Good luck
