A 40-0 victory over Hull FC in a pre-season friendly match last week will send Wigan into the season in confident mood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, there are a lot of quality teams in the league and WIgan will be pushed all of the way in their quest for another title. St Helens will be gunning for revenge after their run of four consecutive titles was brought to an end. Leeds Rhinos have had an excellent pre-season and Challenge Cup winners Leigh Leopards will be hoping to usurp more fancied teams to get into the play offs. Warrington Wolves, now under the stewardship of new coach Sam Burgess, are aiming to challenge for the title. Hull KR surprised a few teams last season and they will look to challenge again this time round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As far as the battle to stay up is concerned, early predictions are suggesting a tough season for Huddersfield Giants, Hull FC, Salford Red Devils and Castleford Tigers. Wigan are priced at 2\/1 to go on to win the Grand Final and retain their title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">St Helens<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Third last year, Saints are 3\/1 second favourites for the league leaders&#8217; shield and are the same price to win the title. Last season a play off defeat to Catalans ended an era of domination for Saints where they won four consecutive Super League titles and two League Leaders Shields. During this period they also won the 2021 Challenge Cup. Last season started well, with a win in the World Club Challenge game against Penrith. They then finished third on the table equal on points with league leaders Wigan and the Catalans Dragons before losing to the Dragons, the eventual runners-up in the play-offs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Leeds Rhinos<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Rhinos finished eighth last year, but they have been busy in the transfer market but are third-favourites for top spot, at 7\/1 and are 15\/2 to win the Grand Final and take the title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Warrington Wolves<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Warrington are another team tipped to be there or thereabouts. Warrington are 15\/2 to win the League Leader\u2019s Shield and are 8\/1 tto be Super League Champions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Catalans Dragons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Second last year, but 11\/1 fifth favourites for the 2024 league leaders&#8217; shield. Dragons are, 10\/1 go one better than last season and take the title,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Leigh Leopards<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Challenge Cup holders are 16\/1 to top the Super League table and are the same price to lift the trophy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hull KR<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Fourth last time, but 16\/1 to lift the league leaders&#8217; shield and are 12\/1 to win the Super League title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Huddersfield Giants<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Giant outsiders for top spot, at 25\/1 and are 18\/1 to win the Super League.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hull FC<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It could be another long year for the black and whites.
