Undeterred, Zverev displayed resilience in the fourth set, ultimately clinching the win and setting up a semi-final clash with Daniil Medvedev.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier on the same day, Medvedev faced a tough challenge from Poland&#8217;s Hubert Hurkacz, ultimately winning 7-6 (7-4) 2-6 6-3 5-7 6-4. The Russian, aiming for his second Grand Slam title after the 2021 US Open, will now meet Zverev in the semi-finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zverev, who endured a significant ankle injury during the 2022 French Open, reflected on the challenges he faced in his career and expressed gratitude for being back in the top 10 and competing in major semi-finals. The German player also learned that he will face a trial in May over domestic abuse allegations, which he denies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The men&#8217;s semi-finals are scheduled for Friday, featuring the clash between Medvedev and Zverev, as well as defending champion Novak Djokovic facing Italian fourth seed Jannik Sinner.
