However, Otto Virtanen levelled the score for Finland by defeating Gabriel Diallo 6-4, 7-5. In the decisive doubles match, Virtanen and Harri Heliovaara secured a 7-5, 6-3 victory over Alexis Galarneau and Vasek Pospisil, earning Finland a historic semi-final berth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Canada faced setbacks with top-ranked player Felix Auger-Aliassime sidelined due to a &#8220;lower body&#8221; issue, while Finnish number one Emil Ruusuvuori was also absent due to injury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finland will face either Australia, last year&#8217;s runners-up, or the Czech Republic in the semi-finals.
