Theegala commenced the day with a two-shot lead and further solidified his position with three birdies within the first five holes. His final round, marked by seven birdies and three bogeys, culminated in a score of 68.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Justin Thomas, a Ryder Cup captain&#8217;s selection, entered the final day in joint second place. However, a challenging front nine saw him tally four bogeys. Despite his efforts, the 30-year-old former world number one concluded with a level par 72, securing a fifth-place finish. Thomas had been searching for his first win of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The defining moment for Theegala came on the 14th hole, where he sunk a remarkable 20-foot birdie putt, extending his lead to five strokes.
