Spurs v Everton Betting Tips & Predictions

Tottenham are 1/2 favourites for the visit of Everton to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Spurs have put together a three-match unbeaten run after the north London derby loss, with consecutive wins coming into this match.

Everton hadn’t lost in seven matches in all competitions prior to last weekend’s loss to Manchester United.

Frank Lampard has made the Toffees a tough team to beat, but there are some availability issues here with Anthony Gordon, Ben Godfrey, Andros Townsend and Nathan Patterson all out. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is still only fit enough for a place on the bench.

Antonio Conte’s side are without Emerson Royal, while Richarlison is a doubt after picking up an injury in the Champions League in midweek.

Total Goals: Under 2.5

11/10 (Bet365)

Under 2.5 goals has hit in 33 per cent of Everton’s league matches so far. The under has also landed in two of Spurs’ last three in all competitions.

While the five goals in Tottenham’s Champions League match might point bettors towards the over, Everton will set up to contain the hosts and will obviously be content with a draw here.

Spurs’ attack also hasn’t been at its best since returning from the international break, scoring just five goals in four matches.

To Win To Nil: Tottenham

6/4 (Ladbrokes)

Three of Spurs’ last five home matches against Everton have been victories to nil. Of Spurs’ last five Premier League wins in 2022-23, three have been accompanied by a clean sheet.

Only three teams have scored fewer Premier League goals than Everton this term, and they only have one player with more than one league goal.

That player is Anthony Gordon, who is suspended.

First Team Booking: Everton

8/11 (William Hill)

Only three teams make more tackles than Everton, and just four teams have received more cards than the Toffees so far this season. Lampard’s team have also been shown the first card in four of their last five matches.

Averaging just 42 per cent possession in 2022-23, Everton are going to relinquish the ball.

Spurs will dominate, leaving ample opportunity for the visitors to commit poor challenges or be subject to the totting-up process.
