Man City v Fulham Betting Tips & Predictions

On the back of a win over Sevilla in midweek, Manchester City are 2/13 favourites for the visit of Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Fulham have put together a four-match unbeaten run in the Premier League, but were held to a goalless draw by Everton at Craven Cottage last weekend.

Manchester City have won three and drawn one in their last four, including a 3-1 win over Sevilla in a Champions League dead rubber on Wednesday night.

Erling Haaland has a chance of returning here after missing the last two matches. Kyle Walker and Kalvin Phillips are out for the hosts, while Bobby De Cordova-Reid is suspended for the visitors.

Total Home Goals: Over 2.5

8/15 (Paddy Power)

Man City have scored over 2.5 goals in eight of their nine home matches in all competitions.

The attack wasn’t as dominant without Haaland last weekend, but they should still create plenty of chances even if the Norwegian is out against a Fulham defence which ranks the worst in the Premier League by advanced metrics.

Fulham conceded four when they played at the Etihad Stadium in the FA Cup earlier this year. They have allowed 15 goals in their last five away matches against City.

To Win Both Halves: Man City

Evens (Paddy Power)

City have scored three or more in their last 10 home Premier League matches, and have been winning at half-time in their last eight against Fulham in all competitions.

They have won both halves in three of six at home in the league this season, and demolished Fulham’s fellow newly-promoted sides.

In a game where a lot of goals are expected, City winning both halves seems a great price at evens considering they are 2/5 to win by two or more goals.

To Be Shown A Card: João Palhinha

7/5 (Bet365)

After a very early suspension for accumulating yellow cards, João Palhinha appears to have got his discipline under control with no bookings in the last five Premier League matches. The Portuguese midfielder will be tested to the extreme at the Etihad, however.

Palhinha makes the most tackles per game in the Premier League. Darren England is taking charge of this one, who brandished more cards than average last season.

With City dominating the ball, Palhinha picking up his sixth card of the season is likely.
