Chelsea v Arsenal Betting Tips & Predictions

Chelsea are 17/10 favourites for the visit of Premier League-leading Arsenal to Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal smashed Nottingham Forest last weekend, but made hard work of a win over Zurich on Thursday.

They are underdogs for their trip across London to face Chelsea. The Blues haven’t won against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in the last three attempts.

Bukayo Saka trained for Arsenal in the week, and should be fit to start here. Oleksandr Zinchenko might have to settle for a place on the bench.

Kepa Arrizabalaga has joined a growing Chelsea injury list, while Mateo Kovacic and Denis Zakaria are both carrying minor knocks.

Both Teams To Score: Yes

7/10 (Bet365)

Both teams to score has landed in 58 per cent of matches for both of these teams. Chelsea have scored in all of their matches at Stamford Bridge, while Arsenal have found the net in all of their matches on the road.

With the relentless pressure of Manchester City, Arsenal cannot afford to settle for a draw.

This should be an open match as a result, with both teams possessing the attacking talent to take advantage.

Anytime Goalscorer: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

9/4 (Bet365)

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left Arsenal in acrimonious circumstances only to return to the Premier League with their London rivals.

Aubameyang has been making headlines in the build up to this fixture, and he will be fiercely motivated to prove a point against his former club.

Primarily used in the Champions League so far, Aubameyang has got off 13 shots in his last five starts in all competitions. There is a risk he’s benched here, but there’s a good chance Graham Potter backs the veteran striker.

To Be Shown A Card: Jorginho

3/1 (Unibet)

Jorginho only has two yellow cards in nine Premier League starts. The Italian isn’t committing a lot of fouls, yet he is a definite card candidate in this match.

Arsenal will pressure the Italian if he starts, which will inevitably lead to some turnovers, and he could be forced into attack-halting fouls.

Equally, Jorginho will be left exposed at times when Chelsea are in possession, and he is not quick-footed enough to cope with the Gunners attacking space.
