The first north London derby of the 2022-23 season comes at a time when both teams are at their strongest in years.
Arsenal are just one point ahead of Tottenham and Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table, and Spurs are one of two unbeaten teams in England’s top flight.
With these teams closely matched in recent years, home advantage has been a massive factor – the away team has lost each of the last five league meetings.
Total Goals: Over 2.5
There have been three or more goals in Tottenham’s last four league matches at the Emirates.
Over 2.5 has also hit in six of Arsenal’s seven Premier League fixtures this season and four of Spurs’ seven.
Mikel Arteta will be looking to control the match, while Antonio Conte will be happy for this to be an open encounter with room for his side to exploit on the break.
Spurs’ attack in full flow is unstoppable, but their defence has also been penetrable.
The history of this fixture tells us goals are almost guaranteed.
Total Corners: Under 9.5
A grand total of 12 corners across their two matches last season points towards the under in this market. Both teams are just above average in corners per match in 2022-23, but that is to be expected given their dominance over most opponents.
There hasn’t been double-figures corners in any of the last three north London derbies.
Arsenal, in particular, have done a stellar job at preventing opponent corner kicks this term, with only City averaging fewer per contest.
To Score Two Or More Goals: Harry Kane
Harry Kane has 13 goals in 15 Premier League matches against Arsenal, including a brace in May.
Kane has started this season in fine form, with six goals to his name already. Only Aleksandar Mitrovic and Erling Haaland have a higher expected goals mark.
The 9/5 price on Kane to score anytime is bound to be a popular bet, but this 10/1 price on Kane to match his tally from the derby in May represents some serious value.
The England international often seems to find his best form in London derbies, and given the standard he’s already been at this season, that could mean a masterclass on Saturday.
