Market Place release (buy & sell tips) and bug fixes 20.11.18

Last updated: 10 Nov 14:45

Hey everyone hope you are enjoying the recently updated design and functionalities of Betting.com.

As you know we work really hard on improving the overall experience and adding new features to our site. Every effort we made is towards reaching our ultimate goal – providing everything a punter can need in one place.

Following the recent release we made I am really happy to announce the official launch of the initial version of Betting.com market place. I know that market place may sounds a little bit confusing but it effectively means that you can buy and sell betting tips on our platform.

Our market place is still in testing mode so you cannot yet charge for your tips as we want to make sure that all functionalities are working perfectly fine. We are targeting to release the payment feature in the next few weeks. However you can start generating your history now.

The goal of Betting.com market place is to protect both parties – tipsters and punters. As we all know how difficult is to choose and follow a tipster. By saying that I shall mention that I have written two articles that have proofed to be very useful “How to choose a tipster” and “How to follow a tipster” I do recommend you reading both of them.

Going back to the issues mentioned above. On one hand some tipsters are trying to fake their results in order to attract more customers. We are solving this problem by using new technologies and verifying the tips published by the tipsters (we verify both odds at the time of publishing and the outcome). Furthermore, every punter has access to the entire historical data of the tipster and can use Betting.com analytical tolls to fully analyse tipster’s performance.

On the other hand, we have got the punter that sometimes is really excited on its expectations. Some punters may be slightly inpatient in certain occasions and build some extra pressure to the tipster. We are solving that problem by being the intermediate and ensuring that we have got the punters expectation settled right.

While we were building Betting.com market place we focused on simplicity, 100% transparency and as much as possible automation. As usual we will be happy to hear any feedback or ideas for improvements.

With this release we also fixed quite a few minor but indeed very annoying bugs.

We are now working on add some features to Betting.com bet tracker and analytics as well as adding more sports to Betting.com odds comparison.
