A 2-1 defeat to Belgium in midweek means Wales have to win this game to avoid relegation from Nations League Group A4.
Poland’s position is almost as precarious, after they lost at home to the Netherlands last time out.
The visitors are three points ahead of Wales, meaning a draw would be enough to see them avoid the drop.
Match Winner: Poland
Wales and Poland are both winless in four matches, with each team’s lack of form making this game a tough one to call.
Rob Page’s side are clearly capable of winning. They have a tendency to produce big results when they need them most, especially when on home soil.
But the Nations League is not comparable to the World Cup or Euros in terms of prestige or occasion.
Wales also come into this match missing several key players. Aaron Ramsey, Ben Davies and Joe Allen are injured, while Chris Mepham and Ethan Ampadu are suspended.
History is against the hosts as well. They have lost their last five matches against Poland, a sequence which includes the 2-1 defeat in the reverse fixture in June.
Those factors make the visitors worth backing to win, particularly at this price.
Both Teams To Score: Yes
This outcome is easier to predict than the result.
Both teams have scored in all five of Wales’ Nations League games so far.
Anytime Goalscorer: Kieffer Moore
Robert Lewandowski and Gareth Bale are the obvious anytime goalscorer bets, but Kieffer Moore is worth backing as well.
Moore has scored six times for Wales since Page took over in November 2020. Only Bale has scored more in that time.
Moore netted against Belgium in midweek, however, while Bale remains short of match fitness.
