Leeds Sack Marsch
Leeds United have sacked manager Jesse Marsch, less than a year after the American took charge.
Only goal difference is keeping 17th placed Leeds out of the relegation zone. Their defeat at Nottingham Forest on Sunday was their seventh Premier League match without a victory, a sequence which stretches back to November.
Marsch took over from Marcelo Bielsa in February. The Yorkshire side went on to finish 17th. Marsch’s coaching team, Rene Maric, Cameron Toshack and Pierre Barrieu, have also been relieved of their duties.

An early favourite is West Bromwich Albion boss Carlos Corberan. West Brom have made great progress since Corberan took the job in October. The Spaniard is a familiar face at Elland Road, having served on the coaching staff. However, the West Brom job is his third since leaving Leeds in 2020, an impressive spell at Huddersfield being followed by 11 games in charge of Olympiakos. Whether he would want another move now, with things going well in his current job is debatable.
Former Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa has been linked with the job. Bielsa played an exciting brand of football and took Leeds to promotion and a ninth place finish, before enduring a disappointing campaign before his sacking. Still regarded highly by the fanbase, he has been out of work since his sacking last year, but was strongly linked with the Everton job.
Andoni Iraola, currently doing an impressive job with Rayo Vallecano, is in the frame, while former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, out of work since leaving PSG last year, has been mentioned. Former Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl is another in the frame, along with Rafael Benitez.
