Arsenal v Zurich Betting Tips & Predictions

Back to winning ways after thumping Nottingham Forest at the weekend, Arsenal are 3/19 for the visit of Zurich on matchday six of the Europa League.

Arsenal have sealed their place in the knockout rounds, but need a victory here to be certain of topping the group after their loss to PSV Eindhoven last week.

Zurich can stay in Europe with the Conference League if they win this one and Bodo/Glimt fail to beat PSV.

Mohamed Elneny, Emile Smith Rowe and Oleksandr Zinchenko remain on the sidelines for Arsenal, and Bukayo Sake could be left out after going off with an injury on Sunday.  Granit Xhaka is suspended.

This is an important game for the Gunners, but with Chelsea to come at the weekend, Mikel Arteta is expected to name a heavily rotated XI.

To Win Both Halves: Arsenal

11/10 (William Hill)

Zurich fought hard in the first meeting between these sides, but they are no match for Arsenal.

The Swiss outfit conceded 10 across their two matches against PSV Eindhoven, and they have their work cut out to keep this respectable even if Arteta names a weaker side.

The Gunners are coming off a 5-0 demolition of Forest, and a similar outcome is to be expected under the lights on Thursday night.

Both Teams To Score: Yes

21/20 (Sport Nation)

Both teams have scored in four of Zurich’s five Group A matches.

Arsenal have kept three clean sheets in their five matches, but they conceded 10 shots when the teams met on matchday one, and the defence has had some uncertain performances this season.

This is good value on Zurich to score even with Arsenal set to dominate.

Anytime Goalscorer: Reiss Nelson

7/4 (Unibet)

Reiss Nelson has been a bit part player this season, amassing only 72 Europa League minutes before coming off the bench on Sunday.

Nelson, once considered one of the hottest prospects in English football, starred against Forest, scoring twice and assisting once.

If Arsenal are to win this comfortably, the 22-year-old is a definite candidate to find the net as he looks to stake a claim for more first-team minutes in 2023.
