Manchester City have already booked their place in the last 16 with 10 points from four Champions League matches.
Dortmund can do the same on Tuesday night if they avoid defeat, having already built a comfortable five-point cushion to Sevilla and Copenhagen.
City are without Kalvin Phillips and Kyle Walker for their trip to Germany, while Salih Ozcan, Donyell Malen, Thomas Meunier and Marco Reus are unavailable for the hosts.
Winner: Manchester City
Dortmund made City work for the three points at the Etihad, with two late goals required for victory. Pep Guardiola’s team controlled proceedings, however, with 66 per cent possession and 12 shots to Dortmund’s five.
While the hosts come into this game off two good results over Hannover and Stuttgart, they are rightly underdogs for this one. These odds are relatively long to win the match by City’s standards.
They will be motivated to take all three points so they can relax on matchday six.
First Goalscorer: Erling Haaland
Returning to Signal Iduna Park, Erling Haaland is coming off yet another brace in City’s 3-1 win over Brighton at the weekend.
The Norwegian is in historic form, with 22 goals in club action already this season. He has opened the scoring in two of City’s four Champions League matches, and scored the winner when these teams met in Manchester.
Likely to be given a great reception by the Dortmund faithful, this is a great price on Haaland to open the scoring, considering that he is as short as 4/5 to score anytime.
Total Goals: Over 2.5
The total is set at 3.5, but with just one goal in City’s last two away matches and Dortmund going under 3.5 in four of their last six at home, it is best to play it safe and go with over 2.5 here.
Goals are still expected between these teams, even with Dortmund exhibiting a solid defence this term.
Seven of City’s last nine matches have had three or more goals.
