Nominations have been going on for a good few months now. However, finally the winners of Global Gaming Awards London 2018 have been announced. The event was hosted at the Hippodrome Casino in the City of Westminster, London. It attracted more than one hundred of the gaming industry’s CEOs attend the prestigious invite-only gathering. It’s an awards ceremony that sees the best of the best in the running to be declared winners and these awards can go on to strengthen a company’s position within the industry.
The Global Gaming Awards London are sort of the sister awards ceremony to the ones that take place in Las Vegas on an annual basis too. The event in London has been ideal in shining a light on new areas within such a rapidly expanding industry. More categories have been created as a result of the growing interest within the sector and the awards themselves. Industry giants such as LeoVegas, NOVOMATIC, Mr Green, NetEnt and more were all in attendance to see who had won what category.
There were plenty of new and unique categories at the London event, with companies from all four corners of the globe nominated for awards. Those in the running also presented a great mixture too. Many people would think that only the industry heavyweights would be in contention but this wasn’t the case, with plenty of up and coming companies also amongst the nominations.

On the night, there were some great winners and even to make it down to the final lot of nominations must be seen as a huge achievement. KPMG adjudicated the Global Gaming Awards 2018 they also oversaw the whole of the judging process too. BetConstruct were the award sponsors. Thier CEO, Vigen Badalyan, helped to present awards at the event alongside Julian Perry and Micky Swindale. Betradar sponsored the event as a whole with their Director of Comms, Alex Inglot, presenting a couple of the awards too.
It was certainly great for all those who ran out as winners in their categories but it looks to have been huge for the likes of bet365, NetEnt and LeoVegas. The latter are already enjoying a great 2018 after agreeing to a few take-overs of other companies. This has led them to gaining a stronger foothold in various other markets and this award will certainly boost their credibility further.
